Monitoring SSL Expiration in Azure
Have you ever received that message from a friend or colleague that says "Hey, your site's SSL certificate has expired?" Well there is a way to monitor that in Azure even if your Web application is not hosted in Azure.

If you are a user of 3rd party utilities like PingDom or UpTime Robot or many others, you probably have been paying for a subscription to get all the extra nifty features like monitoring your SSL Certificate expiration.  In this video, you will see how to use Azure Application Insights to add a Standard Test to check, monitor and alert on the expiration of the SSL Certificate of any site that supports HTTPS.
